Everything you need to know about working together — from pricing and timelines to platforms and process.
The Short Answer: Website pricing depends on your specific goals, scope, and functionality requirements.
The Longer Answer: A simple brochure-style website will cost significantly less than a complex e-commerce platform or custom web application. Rather than offering cookie-cutter packages, I provide custom quotes based on what you actually need to achieve your business objectives. For details on payment structure, see how my fees are structured. Rather than simply asking “How much will a website cost?” consider reframing the question “How much should I to invest to get the website I need to reach my goals, on time, with minimal stress, done right the first time?”
Additionally, my philosophy is not a “one-size-fits all” approach, no two websites are alike. Each have their own set of requirements and goals, not to mention target audiences and visions. My approach helps build a custom online toolkit for your brand (read Website), that does exactly what you need it to do, no more, no less, with a long runway you can confidently grow into.
Here’s why that investment matters: research from Forrester shows that websites focused on superior user experience can achieve visit-to-lead conversion rates more than 400% higher than poorly designed alternatives. And according to WordStream, while the average B2B site converts at 2.23%, the top 10% of performers see rates above 11%—a difference that translates directly to revenue.
The best way to get an accurate estimate is to book a 20-minute intro call where we can discuss your project in detail.
Most website projects range from 3-12 weeks from kickoff to launch. The timeline depends on two main factors: the size and complexity of the website, and how quickly you and your stakeholders can review and respond during the feedback stages. A straightforward 5-page business website moves faster than a 50-page content-heavy site with custom functionality. I’ll provide a realistic timeline estimate during our initial consultation based on your specific project scope. Ready to discuss? Here’s how to get started.
Website builds and brand identity systems are priced as one-time project fees. Web hosting and ongoing support are billed annually. For project work, I typically require a 30% deposit to begin, with the remaining 70% due upon completion. This structure keeps things simple and ensures we’re both committed to getting your project across the finish line.
I also offer ongoing design and development services starting at $175/hr and on-call strategic advisory at $250/hr.
Web hosting is the service that makes your website accessible on the internet—think of it as renting space on a server where your website files live. Yes, I offer hosting services, but here’s what makes my approach different: I don’t lock you into mandatory “maintenance agreements” or proprietary systems. You own everything I produce for you, and it’s all built on open-source technology. If you ever decide to move on, any competent developer can pick up right where I left off. No vendor lock-in, no hostage situations.
Absolutely. Unlike many web development companies, I don’t believe you should be tied to one vendor—or require a tech-savvy person on staff—just to update your own website. I build intuitive content management systems that let you manage your content easily. You won’t be touching the design or code; think of it as “on rails.” You can update text, swap images, and add new content with simple copy-paste actions while the design and formatting stay locked in place.
Absolutely. I always do my best to stay on the “cutting-edge” of new technologies and opportunities produce better results for my clients…
But the question should be not whether or not I use AI, but how I use AI
I do not fully delegate to AI or create any quick “take and bake” solutions you’ll find anywhere else. My process remains highly curated and exclusive to my over two decades worth of experience.
My content stategy process In particular, leverages AI for bulk research, and first-pass copywriting before I put on my “Creative Director Hat” curating the copy and shaping it up to my standards, ready for my design process. So much so, I even packaged up my Complete Content Strategy framework so others can take advantage of it.
My design process remains entirely done by hand, in Figma, starting from a blank canvas (and your brand standards, if applicable).
My development process leans on AI for what I call the “middle layer” expediting the bulk “best practices” and foundational code, before I massage in the custom code to create the design we’ve aligned on. This allows me to be more efficient than larger teams and agencies, passing along the savings and allowing me to focus more of my efforts on the polish and final product.

Yes, I’m available as much or as little as you need. Some clients prefer to handle day-to-day updates themselves and only reach out for larger changes or new features. Others want ongoing support for regular updates and improvements. I offer flexible support arrangements that fit your needs and budget.
If I didn’t build your website, I typically cannot offer support services. My support is reserved exclusively for websites I’ve created, which allows me to fully dedicate my resources to the clients who entrusted me with their projects from the start. However, if your current website isn’t serving you well, I’d be happy to discuss a redesign or rebuild that sets you up for long-term success. Let’s talk about it.
As a front-end developer, I work with multiple open-source systems including the JAMstack, Shopify, and WordPress. However, I don’t use templates, drag-and-drop builders, or bloated frameworks with short shelf lives that lead to instability or create more work for you down the road. Every system I build is custom-tailored and highly curated to your specific goals and requirements. The platform choice is always driven by what makes the most sense for your business—not what’s easiest for me.
You do. In perpetuity. There are no licensing fees, no proprietary code traps, and nothing beyond basic hosting and domain costs. The website is yours—the design, the code, all of it. You’re free to take it anywhere you choose at any time.
Most of my work comes from repeat clients and referrals, so in many cases, many of my testimonials are from clients who have hired me two, three, or even double-digits number of times, or in some cases- my work has been “white labeled” for agencies and not put on my website.
So I don’t do any “outbound marketing” sales campaigns or blowout deals, and I don’t have a “menu” of options (see “How much does it cost to build a website” for my philisophy on a custom tailored approach to pricing and choosing the correct tool for the job.) so most of my engagements come with some frame of reference, more than just my portfolio and quality of work, but about the standards I hold myself to and the intimate collaborative process I provide.
Yes, I offer comprehensive SEO services. Every website I build includes foundational SEO best practices—proper site structure, meta tags, schema markup, page speed optimization, and mobile responsiveness. For clients who want to go further, I provide ongoing SEO strategy and implementation to improve your search rankings and drive organic traffic over time.
After your website launches, Google typically discovers and indexes new sites within a few days to a few weeks. However, ranking well for competitive search terms takes longer—usually 3-6 months of consistent effort, depending on your industry and competition. I submit your site to Google Search Console at launch and implement technical SEO best practices to give you the strongest possible foundation. SEO is a long-term investment, not an overnight fix.
Logo pricing varies based on the scope of work. A standalone logo is one thing; a comprehensive brand identity system with logo variations, color palette, typography, brand guidelines, and collateral templates is another. I provide custom quotes based on your specific needs. The real question isn’t just “how much does a logo cost”—it’s “what do you need to position your brand for success?” Let’s talk about your goals first.
Generally speaking, I don’t do “just a logo” anymore, because rarely is that all a project requires to be successful.
A logo is one element of your brand—it’s the visual mark that represents you. A brand identity is the complete and comprehensive visual and strategic system: your logo (and its variations), color palette, typography, imagery style, voice and tone guidelines, and how all these elements work together across every touchpoint. Think of your logo as your signature; your brand identity is your entire personality and all it’s possible applications, ranging from physical to digital.
Brand identity projects typically range from 4-8 weeks, depending on scope and complexity. This includes discovery and strategy, concept development, revisions, and final delivery of all assets and guidelines. Like website projects, the timeline also depends on how quickly feedback cycles move on your end.
Yes. In fact, strategy is where every engagement should start. I’m often introduced as “the guy that designs logos or builds websites,” but my real value is in the strategic process—understanding your organization’s goals and determining how we can make the highest impact with the best ROI. Design and development are how we execute the strategy, not the strategy itself.
Yes, completely. Once the project is complete and paid in full, you own all rights to your logo, brand identity assets, and any other deliverables. The same applies to website ownership. No licensing fees, no usage restrictions, no surprises.
My process starts with strategy, not aesthetics. First, we define your goals, audience, and positioning. Then I develop concepts rooted in that strategic foundation. From there, we refine through focused feedback rounds until we land on a solution that not only looks right but works right—meaning it drives the results you’re after. Every project is different, but the strategic-first approach stays consistent. Here’s how to get started.
The best first step is to book a 20-minute intro call. We’ll discuss your project, goals, and timeline. If it’s a good fit, I’ll follow up with a proposal outlining scope, investment, and next steps. No pressure, no obligation—just a conversation to see if we’re the right match.
Absolutely. While I’m based in Georgetown, Texas, I work with organizations of all sizes worldwide. My client roster includes businesses across the country and internationally. Video calls, email, and collaborative tools make remote partnerships seamless.
I’ve completed hundreds of projects across more than 20 industries—including healthcare, technology, non-profits, professional services, consumer products, food and beverage, politics, aviation, financial services, and more. This range means I bring cross-industry perspective to every project while tailoring solutions to your specific market. I joke it’s all really like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, but my unique ratio is tailored to your user’s pallette. You can browse my portfolio by category to see relevant work.
Both. My clients range from small businesses and startups to Fortune 500 corporations like Dell and IBM, and political campaigns from local races to presidential. The common thread isn’t size—it’s motivation. I work best with organizations that are serious about growth and ready to invest in doing things right.
Most freelancers execute tasks. I lead with strategy. The deliverable—whether it’s a website, logo, or brand system—is the result of a strategic process tailored to your organization’s goals, not a template tweaked to fit. I also don’t lock you into proprietary systems or ongoing dependencies. You own everything, and you’re free to take it anywhere. My job is to position you for success, not to create recurring revenue for myself.
DIY website builders are fine for personal projects or very early-stage businesses testing an idea. But they come with trade-offs: limited customization, slower performance, weaker SEO foundations, and designs that look like everyone else’s. If you’re a motivated brand and your website is a core business asset, like it is for most organizations, it’s investing in a custom solution built for your specific goals that will outperform a template every time.
Yes, every website I build is fully responsive and optimized for all devices—desktop, tablet, and mobile. With the majority of web traffic now coming from mobile devices, this isn’t optional; it’s foundational. It also plays a major role in SEO and page speed.
Speed is a priority in every build. Slow websites hurt user experience, search rankings, and conversions. I optimize for performance through clean code, proper image handling, efficient hosting, and modern development practices. You won’t be stuck with a bloated site that takes forever to load.
Yes. I build e-commerce solutions on platforms like Shopify and WooCommerce, depending on your needs. Whether you’re selling products, services, or subscriptions, I can create a store that’s easy for you to manage and optimized for conversions.
Yes. I regularly integrate websites with CRMs, email marketing platforms, scheduling tools, payment processors, analytics platforms, and more. If there’s a tool your business relies on, we can likely connect it to your website. See what platforms I build on.
