The Biden Seesaw was a funny concept I helped dream up to visualize what is traditionally referred to as a "flip-flop" in the political spectrum. I wanted to bring the schoolyard scene to life with a subtle seesaw animation and plenty of memorable visual material to help it gain traction on social media. It seemed to work out well, and ended up winning Gold for Best Use of Humor and Silver for Best Digital Contrast piece at the 2020 Pollie Awards.
Working with Drogin Group on this Award-winning comprehensive campaign stands as a true case-study for how a holistic approach to building a brand and candidate's image can help a project stand out in any crowded field. Despite running an unsucessful campaign being out-spent, Elianor's message was able to resonate and carry a movement in her district that still lives today.
Working with Lincoln Strategy Group to develop the Brand Identity and associated user experience showcases what a comprehensive brand strategy can accomplish. It was a pleasure developing a brand with backstory to represent a great candidate.
Political affiliations aside, It was an amazing opportunity to work with Tusk Digital to develop the brand identity and associated website for the Carly for President campaign. I was tasked with creating an identity that would help elevate her unique message and coincide with her modern approach to politics. Despite the extremely short turnaround (roughly 1 week from concept to launch) we were able to develop a unique and cohesive brand and user experience.
Lance Gooden ran a successful campaign for a congressional seat in Texas and I was happy to help him build a custom user experience for reaching voters and sharing his views on issues.
